I not only use the Mobile Breathalyzer to ensure that when we leave a concert that we have a sober driver but I am also helping an alcoholic friend by spot checking him which is helping him stay honest in his battle with the disease.
Over the years as the laws have become tougher concerning drunk driving (rightfully so), I've wondered where my true "cut-off point" was. Obviously I don't want to be arrested for drunk driving, but more so, I would hate to be responsible for injuring, or worse, killing someone. The BACtrack has helped me confirm that my cut-off point is right where I thought it was, and has reinforced the fact that it takes (considerable) time to get back to sober. It's easy to use, and provides that irrefutable proof that you've had one too many!
I own a substance abuse facility and we have gone through a number of professional breathalyzers. The BacTrack not only is smaller, more reliable, and so easy to use that i deployed it to 15 employees in under 10 minutes. We live by those readouts - This is a fantastic product.
It is not only portable, but it just works. Once you know how to use it there aren't even any "glitches" or anything that doesn't quite work on it. It works and works well. I used to have no idea what .05 even felt like, but now that I have used it for a while I can more accurately *for entertainment purposes* feel exactly where I am at number-wise.
It's super small and portable so I can take it with me wherever I go. I find it to be very accurate, as long as you follow instructions, like waiting 15 minutes after eating or drinking. I've tested it alongside professional ones and it's just as good.
