There are NO NEGATIVES TO THIS PRODUCT. The device worked flawlessly from the start. I charged it up and use it at least three times a day. It has not needed a recharge but I charge it on ocasdion just for GP even though the charge level in the app shows full and has never shown less. The device could not be easier to use. You just follow the apps directions. It's me, read fool proof. I have only used one mouthpiece. All I do is wash it and rinse it with the dishes. You can buy a supply if you are a germ phobe or allow others to use it but how would you sanitize the internals if you did allow others to use? The APP: It's free no ads. Also awesome. Is written well. Shows results graphically numerous ways, some fun some serious. Tracks results in the propritary mode AND in the iOS health app. Tracks days weeks and months. Is totally customizable to you. As an added us it shows other BACtrack users throuhout U.S. The choice to share location and results is optional of course and there is no other info shared except location and results. It is very interesting to see other results and locations. As a recovering alcoholic it helps with the motivation to stay sober. It does not prevent drinking but really adds to the will to stop. For drinkers who are not alcoholics it is great for gauging your sobriety after a a relaxing cocktail or a meal with any alcohol beverage. The App gauges your motor skills based on your alcohol consumption and puts it in plain English so there is no mistaking your anility to drive or pass a field sobriety test if you are stopped by Public Safety personnel. An indispensible tool for anyone who inbibes, PERIOD!

I've had this for a few weeks now and I have learned a tremendous amount about how alcohol affects me in various situations. It's been fun making up experiments. Also a bonus to know when I've had enough so the next day will not be a problem. The prediction to becoming sober feature has been right on. The only thing I disagree with is that to track your habits, you have to agree to send your data anonymously. It's not a big deal really but for legal reasons I am a little wary about that. I wish you could save your results on your device directly. But that's not enough to bring down the rating! I can always just write it down of course. This thing is great. Not only may it save a life one day, it's honestly kind of fun. Become a more responsible drinker and get one!

I bought the Mobile and found the results of what I thought was responsible drinking to be well beyond. Yes, you could read data about drinks and how they are related to blood alcohol, but the next day I was shocked to find I was well over the limit and did not clear until the afternoon. Completely worth the price given the "cold water" shock to the face.

Breathalyzer now gives '0.0' every time I use it

After getting my breathalyzer calibrated, after times that I *know* I've had a measurable amount to drink, the breathalyzer is returning '0.0' when I use it. Not sure what happened!

First and foremost I wanted to have some knowledge into how much a beer is actually impacting my 'legal' drunk level. I've been able to get a MUCH better knowledge of how intoxicated I am now that I've measured my BAC so many times at this point. I'm pretty accurate in guessing even before I take the measurement. Additionally, I've opened the eyes of several of my friends in similar ways. This device saves lives, money, and everyone who drinks or has friends who drink should have one.
