You have to know why you are buying this. And my hope it isn't to try and thread the needle and drive home just below your place's legal BAC. For me it is good to know what my BAC is with some precision after I have a drink or two after work, and when I am out "partying". Information is power. This is discrete and has given me a lot of confidence in staying moderate in my alcohol use. Great job guys. The only "issue" is going to be when to re-calibrate. I would be good if the device had a built in diagnostic and warm me when I am getting close to needing to send it in for re-calibration.

I've had this for about 6 months now and I have nothing but great things to say. It's done a great job keeping me safe when I have to drive and it keeps me from getting hung over when I do drink. It's easy to take a reading and know when to say when, even if your body isn't telling you. The battery is amazing too. I took it out of the box and used it often for 3-4 months before I charged it. I didn't even know if it was necessary but I was going on a trip and wanted to be safe. I think everyone that drinks alcohol, no matter how much, should own this. It keeps you safe and helps you learn your limits. And it can also keep you out of hand cuffs.

I started drinking late in life. I don't think I drink too much, but I'm in a wine group and I think my husband and some friends do sometimes. This is a tool I've wanted for a long time to educate myself on what my limits are and to convince my husband that he should not drive. I've been pulled over twice in last couple years and passed the roadside both times but was asked to blow the second (.01) (both times the car smelled like alcohol for other reasons on a hot day) so my awareness is high. Tonight I had a cocktail and a glass of wine and blew more than I felt comfortable driving. I was happy I had the tool to educate me on what is safer.
