I bought this a month or so ago. I have a ignition interlock system installed on my car which I don't want any violations. Using BACtrack prior to the required test of system installed in my car has produced zero violations. I think this unit is more sensitive than the government issued device. Way to go BACtrack! Thank you!
I have two units simply to check one vs the other due to the fact they are not very accurate and not reliable. The the question becomes which one is right, if you require accuracy and reliability this is not the unit. One unit has been sent back twice now.
I bought this to replace an Alcomate device which was going through sensors at an alarming rate. My first reaction was how tiny it is, and how light weight. By using a smartphone to do the sample analysis, the BACtrack minimized size and weight, while showing results to the nearest 1000th of a percent while the "professional" Alcomate only resolved the result to the nearest 100th.
I bought this for golf weekends to see who is driving and who is not. Funny to hear what people think they are at before they blow. Has kept a few of us from taking the chance.
I purchased this a month ago and overall quite happy. An issue it does have is linking up via the bluetooth, this can take a number of attempts before success, I assume some form of update on the software is required?
