Love the large ink supply !

My new printer is working flawlessly in every way. The scanning program supplied with the printer is easy to use and to save documents. Print quality is better than expected, and I'm really going to appreciate having that large ink supply.

Great Printer!!!!

I upgraded my Canon Pixma MX922 for ths Brother MFC-J775DW printer and I do not regret it! I like that this printer wastes very little ink and the excellent print quality! I really like how quiet and fast this machine is when printing. I really like the features of the web, I can enter my one drive and print without having my computer nearby. The only thing is that my other printer had many more maintenance options compared to this one. I don't like that the build quality feels cheap and very fragile compared to my previous Canon printer. I would have liked this printer to have a USB port to be able to print direct from a USB stick or scan direct to a USB stick. In general it is an economic printer with good features and good print quality. I recommend it.

I received a Brother MFC-J775 free to give an honest review... and wow! What an okay printer! I`d never used an entirely wireless printer, so it took me a bit of braining to connect my physical connections to it. However, connecting wirelessly is easy with Wifi-Direct. I use this printer quite extensively at my small business and my experience has been: printing is slow but colors are accurate and vivid. Scanning is high quality, automatic-feeder is quick, and the ability to scan directly to the cloud saves a lot unnecessary steps. Copying is again, slow but accurate. Physically, it`s form factor is well built, compact, and looks great! The LCD color screen is vivid and offers easy navigation of the printer menus. The smartphone app which allows you to print directly from your phone is easy to navigate and well designed. The Brother software suite which accompanies the printer is very intuitive allows for some really great printing options. All things considered this is an excellent printer for personal use. As far as using it in a business setting, it`s just too slow.

High quality printer

Overall I was satisfied with the performance of the printer. The set up and installation was easy to understand and it only took me about 20 minutes. I like that the instructions were very clear and since I was not planning to use the machine as a fax, I was able to skip over many of the steps. I thought the touchscreen seemed a bit too complicated. For example, there are quite a few buttons on there including a back button and an exit button. It`s took me a few minutes to figure out when I needed to use the back button and when I needed to use the exit button. After using it a couple times, it made a lot more sense to me.One nice thing about the touchscreen is it has numbers on it. When I was doing the initial settings and in putting the time, it was nice to simply enter the numbers rather than having to use an arrow and scroll through until I got to the correct one.It was also very simple to install the app on my iPhone and use the printer. The only thing I really don`t like is that you have to go through the app to print something. For example, you can`t just go into your photos, find a picture that you like and hit print. You need to open the printer app, go into photos from there and then print it. I found this annoying since it is not consistent with the way that I am used to printing things. However, the excellent quality of photos printed from this printer makes up for it! I tried printing a photo on regular paper and it actually looks nice enough that I was able to frame it. The only other complaint I have about this printer is that it is very slow. If you are trying to print a bunch of pages, be prepared to wait. Since I will be using this in a home office rather than in an office where I need to print stuff for waiting customers or coworkers, the wait time is acceptable. This printer is not perfect but it is a high-quality product and the amount of money that you can save on ink is significant.

Item: Brother MFC-J775DW Inkjet All In One Wifi PrinterSTORAGE: I participated in a market research study and received the Brother MFC-J775DW Multi-Function Printer to evaluate. I own a home business and currently have a Brother Laser printer and having this color multi-purpose inkjet printer helps my online business tremendously. I currently run my business with multiple mobile devices and having the option to print remotely with wifi adds unsurpassed efficiency and saves me lots of time. ASSEMBLY: Overall, the printer was easy to assemble. It took about 15 minutes to set up the printer. The only difficult part I encountered was in setting up the ink cartridges. The instructions didn`t specify that the caps on the cartridges needed to be twisted entirely until it clicked and I was having trouble removing the caps. After I figured out that I needed to twist until it clicked, removing the caps was easy and everything else set up quickly. The software took 13 minutes to install on my laptop and it took 5 minutes to set up each of my mobile devices to pair with the printer. FUNCTIONALITY: The printer is VERY quiet and the print quality is superb. The printing itself is a bit on the slow side. The printer responds very quickly to start printing from mobile devices. Printing a webpage from a mobile device does not work well on the iPrint&Scan app. The app only allows me to print what shows up on the app screen instead of printing the entire web page. However, printing documents from the iPrint&Scan works prefectly. The scan feature works well with no problem. I was not able to utilize the fax service as I do not have a landline. PROBLEMS: My only major complaint with the printer is the iPrint&Scan app is not user friendly and does not allow me to print entire webpages. Also, the printing time takes a long time and is not conducive for printing large amounts of documents on a tight time constraint.

Set-up instructions were easy to follow. The printer connected to wi-fi easily & has all features I use on a daily basis - printing, copying, & scanning. The printer is lightweight & great for basic printing, scanning & faxing needs! I also love that the printer looks clean & modern - with easy to understand buttons & screen.

Brother All-in-One Super Functional Printer

I participated in a market research study and received this product to evaluate. Upon receiving the printer, I proceeded to put the few pieces together that needed to be done prior to launching into the start up of the machine. The packaging made for a quick removal from the box and all the parts were labeled accordingly. I then read over the "Quick Start" start up guide and began following the step by step guide. Upon installation of the start up disc the printer pretty much did everything on it`s own with me only having to press "next" throughout the set up stages. The printer was done and ready to use in no time, it did not take any longer than 20 minutes and that is typically unusual for me. I proceeded to install the ink cartridges, and paper. Simple. I then wanted to hard wire the printer directly to my computer to test print and this is where I ran into the unusual placement of the USB drive, which was not located on the back or sides of the printer, but rather unusually it was inside the printer placed under the printer/scanner cover. I found this rather awkward and somewhat complicated to work with, as you have to route the wire down the insert made for it to run it out of the machine without having it be blocking one of the printers functions. I truly fell in love with this machine. The amount of printing I did and it`s ability to output over and over again with no need to replace the ink cartridges was AMAZING!! That is what I look for in a good printer and have yet to truly find any like this. It fits most anywhere and takes up little to no space. It is much more compact than my other multi-function printers, as well as much lighter. There were some drawbacks to the this product that could be improved upon to make it one of the best I`ve ever used. First off, the top of the printer that you lift up to place your copying, faxing, or scanning documents on does not have a holder to keep it up while you place your documents, you have to hold it up while doing this, otherwise it will slam down closing and eventually I`m sure, breaking the glass on the scanner. Secondly, the USB port should be on the back or side of the machine, not unassailable and oddly located in the machine. Lastly, some of the pieces on the machine are made with less sturdy plastic then the other parts and those could be upgraded; ex: the printer tray and paper catcher and the fax tray. Overall though I found this to be a wonderful product that I would definitely purchase as well as recommend to others. The amount of ink I use versus the number of times I had to replace the ink cartridges far surpasses any other printer I have ever owned and that is one of my biggest complaints with other brands.
