When I received the brother printer I was surprised by how light weight and compact it was. It was easy to set up from the moment I plugged it in. The directions were simole and clear. I decided to create some business cards for myself for my tutoring business to see if I could make some that look professional at home. The high quality of images from the brother printer really made my business cards look legitimate. I recently bought an RV and had to send in some paper work and I was able to just scan it with the printer; it was easy to place the documents face down on the glass and everything was sent wirelessly to my computer which was really super convenient. The less wires the better for me especially since we`re going to be taking the printer on the road with us in our RV!I`m a really nostalgic person And I enjoy scrap booking and printing pictures from events and special occasions and I decided to print a picture from my recent wedding of my sister-in-law, my husband, my brother and me. I printed pictures on the brother printer to make into magnets as gifts for everyone. The quality was excellent.

I am pleased with the quality of this product. Overall, it prints well, was easy to set up, and is a sleek, compact size. Initial set up was easy, and even though I didn`t have a disc drive on my computer, I was able to download the program from the internet. I have it set up on both a PC and a Mac, and both worked well. It connected and printed fast on that first try. The next few times I went to use it, it would not recognize as "online" for about 10 minutes after turning on, and then takes a few minutes to print each page. This may be due to wifi signal? It is frustrating as it is in the home office, where wifi has been good in the past. I love the long-lasting ink cartridges, however. Much better than the printers I`ve bought in the past that run out of ink right away, and cost so much to print.

Excellent All-in-One printer on a budget

Overall, this is an excellent printer at an exceptional price point. Please allow me to highlight a few of its features:Set Up: the printer was quick and easy to set up. The directions were very straight forward and took less than 10 minutes. I was able to add it to my home computer and my I-phone easily. Printing: Obviously, this is one of the most important features. I use the printer wirelessly, which can be slow; however, I did not find that to be the case. It quickly receives documents to print from my computer. The print quality is smooth in both black and color printing. It prints very quickly from my computer. The only downside is that printing from my phone takes a bit longer to complete. It also timed out a couple of times when printing from my phone and I had to resend the document. I wish I had access to a Chromebook, but it does state that it is able to print from Chromebooks thought Google Cloud. The directions for this are available in the online manual.Copying: It copies quickly and efficiently in both color and black and white.Scanning: It scanned a color document quickly. The document was sent as a PDF and was easily opened on my computer. It also has the ability to scan to an email address. I found this feature to be particularly helpful.Faxing: Unfortunately, I do not have a landline so I was unable to test this feature. However, the set up seems fairly straight forward and the phone jack is easily accessible. Price: This is an excellent price point for and All-in-One printer, especially considering it comes with a 2 year supply of ink! I highly recommend this printer, especially at this price!

Well, maybe not everything, but as far as printers go, it`s great!I`m used to printers being kind of a pain to get installed and set up on your wifi. This was pretty easy, and there is a phone number if you end up needing help. Of course I like wireless printing but you can print from you phone! Love not having to get on the laptop to print. Also, you can use several cloud services with this printer too. I used to have to buy or refill ink pretty frequently, and this printer comes with enough refills that I don`t have to secretly print stuff at work anymore. Hooray!

The Brother MFC-J775DWL is a great all in one printer. It was easy to set up and easy to pair wirelessly with my laptop. I appreciate that there are three different color ink packets instead of a combination pack. I feel you are able to use more ink when they are separate. The printer prints quickly and smoothly. The prints excellent color as well as crisp black-and-white images. The paper tray is easy to adjust and holds a good amount of paper. The machine-led instructions are easy to follow and were a big help getting my wireless connection up and running. The machine`s ability to copy images using the copy` function was also impressive. Overal, I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a basic all in one wireless printer.

Easy set up and compact design

I have an older model Brother printer at my office so I was interested in how the newer models compared. The printer itself is rather compact, but does not fit in my Ikea cube shelves (too wide). Once I added paper and powered it on, the next instruction was to unwrap the ink cartridges, activate them, and install the four of them one at a time. This was very straightforward. I was also able to easily add it to my wireless network and send my first print job. Overall, very easy setup and quality performance.

Love this printer!

I love the fact that I no longer re-ink and ruin my printer, and that replacement cartridges are reasonably priced. Good amount of paper in feed, slow printing for 2 sided, but works well, and I am happy that there are no problems. Couldn't figure out how to add scan feature, even with online support. Son figured it out!

Clear printing, very miserly on ink

For the most part, we are satisfied with the printer, especially the way it prints well but conserves ink. The construction is somewhat flimsy, especially the paper tray.
Some of the electronic controls take a considerable time to get accustomed to and to operate when attempting specific printing methodologies.
