Printing quality is good once you can get it to auto connect to computer, slowly does this function.

Excellent printer for light office needs

This all in one printer can print, scan, fax and make copies in color or black/white. It also has the capability to print and scan wirelessly from phones, laptops, tablets and even desktop computers. The LCD/display plate is also flexible and can be angled to change the visual view and does not have to stay flush against the machine. Printer also has a manual feed tray located on the top that opens and closes easily when not in use.Packaging: The printer was packaged especially well and was easy to remove from box and other peripherals. The color cartridges were sealed individually with the ability to tear them open, however the black ink cartridge was not, I had to use scissors to get that one open. Installation: The LCD screen on the printer and the written instructions with visuals made install very easy. I have never installed a printer before and was intimidated by it, but managed to run the install smoothly. It took about 30 minutes to set up and this included a set up the printer had to run through by itself. The directions did state to use starter ink, which I did not find. Instead this printer came with 3 sets of full ink so that was a bonus.An extra nice feature is the ink level indicator. Since the cartridges are indivduals, the indicator shows which color needs to be replaced. So no more wasted ink since only the one color can be replaced if needed.Features: For my use I did not use the cd installation disc but instead downloaded the Brother Iprint and Scan app. This is fantastic! I love how fast it scans and how clear the picture it produces is. This all in one also has the ability to scan straight to Dropbox and email. I found this printer to be a bit loud and noisy. With the wireless capability however I did not have to house the printer right on my desk. I was able to put it in a separate room so when printing and on the phone with the customer, I don`t have to worry about the noise.In my opinion, this machine is easy to use and a great price for all the features and capabilities that is has.

I participated in a market research study and received this product to evaluate. The printer was a space-saver size and fit well in my workspace. The directions were easy to follow regarding ink cartridge insertion, set-up and connecting to wi-fi. I was expecting the set-up process to be more difficult. The product came with a disk to insert into my laptop to download the software and it walked me through the set-up process with ease.

Great quality printed document and outstanding pictures. I like its size and model flexibility. I don`t feel overwhelmed with "lack of space" concerns. The instructions in the box were very clear. It was easy to hook-up. Took me 15 minutes tops.This printer has met all my expectations. The only improvement I would make is with the "back" Button. It does not want to go back more than once. My overall impression is very positive. I am extremely happy with the printer and all its functions.

Brother All-In-One printer

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This printer was incredibly easy to connect to my computer, as well as my phone. I was able to quickly set the printer up right out of the box and start printing immediately. The directions were clear, precise, and to the point. After downloading the app, I was able to print straight from my phone which is a major plus. One complaint I have is that printing from my phone is very slow. I think it may be quicker to actually email the document to myself and the download and print from the computer. Printing directly from the computer is MUCH faster. The printer is fully capable of mass printing black and white documents, however color printing should be avoided. The quality of the color printing feature is lacking. Colors other than black take an extremely long time to print, and often they come out distorted and blurry. Overall, if you are looking for a basic black and white printer that is easy to setup and can connect to your devices for wireless printing, then this printer is worth the purchase.

Loved the ease of use

Printing on the go is the new norm and this printer masters it all. I loved the ease of use, printing wirelessly from both my laptop and iPhone. Great option for scanning signed docs for email, too. The compact design allows me to simply store it away. I use the printer for travel (boarding passes and itinerary print outs), fun nights out (ticket printing for concerts and baseball games), hobbies ( recipe keepsakes and workout planning). Additional benefits are business printing and getting signed docs turned in from the comfort of home.I`ve always wanted to try the post office self support feature. With this brother printer, I am all-in. The front and back printing in vivid color stands to be a good match for postage.

Easy to use, love the 2 years of ink

It prints word docs, pictures, and charts very clearly. It was easy to hook up and easy to use. I really liked that 2 year of ink is included since ink is very expensive. I always realize I need ink when I am out, so it is nice to not worry about this for two years.

This printer is an excellent buy with all the bells and whistles. It does all the things that my techy husband wants it to do and is easy for me (someone who is less techy) to use without being overwhelmed by too many features. My favorite feature is that I can print to the printer from my phone! So easy! we also like the size. We can tuck it aside in our guest room. It`s oa quick setup. From box to set up it took less that 25 minutes. The instructions were clear. We have had home printers in the past and we`ve always had bad luck with them. I`m very happy with this choice and look forward to using this one. I was also pleasantly surprised about how much ink came with it. Overall I think this is a great home printer and would recommend it to others!
