Terrific Smoker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this smoker as an addition to my electric smoker to test the difference. It's true - there's not thing like a real charcoal smoker! Plenty of space for lots of rib and brisket. Solid construction.

This unit has all the bells and whistles

It is heavy gauge metal with a very good powder coated finish.
I love the fire box being separate from the bottom, the water bowl, and the cool little red grommet for my temp sensors.
These guys thought of everything, an adjustable damper on the bottom for heat control, handy control right in front. Plus top vent adjustable.
Clean up is a cinch and most important, of Chicken, Beef and Pork, everything we have smoked, is better eating than any other method of cooking, Not saying it best for everything, but this is one well designed quality made smoker.

Good Starter Smoker with budget quirks

Overall a decent product. Adding gaskets to the door and lid really help with leakage. Thermo gauge is inaccurate. Door handle/latch is flimsy and I'm expecting it to break eventually. But the core of the product is good. Unless you get this on sale the Weber Smokey Mountain might be about the same price after the upgrades to the Char Broil Bullet.
With that said, I've made some amazing ribs and chicken drumsticks so far.

Indestructible Workhorse!

We count on our smoker for our annual 8 family camping trip. We smoke ribs and chicken for 40-50 people and each year is better than the last!

Best Smoker by far

I bought mine 2 months ago and my wife is starting to hate me as I keep filling up the fridge with smoked food and not near enough room, Hey do you guys sell Refrigerators.

Very well built but has some flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice bullet smoker. It's powder coated, but it does have some flaws. It was fairly easy to put together. Taking my time, it took about 45 minutes to assemble. Seasoning it was easy. There are a few design flaws we noted.
Cons:
1) At the price of this smoker, it should have at least come with a cover.
2) Accessing the water pan to put more in while you are smoking is annoying and very difficult. The pan is part of the middle section (attached to your secondary meat rack) and has a very narrow clearance to add water. I had to use a watering can to put some in there throughout the cooking process.
3) the door on the front is huge, and when you need to add water, it lets out a ton of heat.
4) If you need to add more to the heat at the bottom, you have to take off the entire middle and top at the same time, try not to slosh hot water on yourself, and refill the heat area.

Im seasoning the smoker as per instructions, and it's going on 2 hours now and it has been consistently holding temp 225-250. had to mess with the vents every so often but hey, that's smokin!!!! i'm loving this smoker so far, next weekend i'll throw something in it and see how it go's, I don't think i'll have any issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
