I bought this filter only weeks ago and although it has been operating in a low dust or debris environment (i e bedroom and bathroom) the filter warning light is already telling me it needs to be changed. These things are too expensive to change this frequently!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I originally purchased several years ago to help with allergies as well as a sound maker to help drown out noise while I'm sleeping. it's quiet on low , but I run it on high specifically for the noise. I like the design change to the rotating switch rather than on off button, as every time power went out I had to turn the old model back on. Definitely removes a lot from the air , I have to clean off the front grate weekly with dust.

I wish I had done more research on HEPA console products. The purchase of 3 filters plus the filter screens is very expensive. After running machine several days I took filters out and no dirt was noted on filters which leads me to question the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
