The new normal in CA Bay Area sadly seems to include air that is dangerous to breathe from the annual fires hundreds of miles away. I bought these air filters years ago to use when my children had colds. Now we use them for the 'smoggy fire air'. They really help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using 2 Holmes Air Purifier machines now for over 10 years. I leave them running day and night. I just love them. I still can’t believe how much dust the HEPA filters pull out of the air each day. And it’s so easy replacing the filters in the Holmes machines. You gotta get one.

Ran 24/7 after storm damage repair, and hadnt replaced them for a year prior. Hard to tell objectively if they do much, bit less coughing and sneezing maybe. Clouds of powder when we cleaned the prefilters.
