The large air purifier is more silent than competing brands. The filters work well and you can be sure that it's not a knockoff. You can extend the life by regularly vacuuming the filters and prefilters.

I have 2 large and 2 small air purifiers in my home -- that's 8(!) filters per change and they are NOT cheap. I was just about to order filters because my wife's allergies were flaring. Miserable wife = miserable me. I searched online and thought that I had found the best price. Holmes beat that by almost half! -- awesome!
