Blower is powerful enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blower moves enough air. I went with 400 cfm for the price compared to the more expensive 600+cfm models. Just make sure it's vented outside rather than recirculation.
Only complaint is the seal around the up pipe. Some air escapes up around the pipe causing some discoloration.

Incredible value and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very high quality product and performs extremely well. When building a new home we knew a good quality hood was critical to achieving our vision. This hood looks incredible and performs magically. We can even blacken fish, brown foods, and sear steaks with no issue. I looked long and hard at all my appliances to find the best value and quality and I have no regrets with the Kitchenaid hood. We went black stainless which is beautiful and stays exceptionally clean.

Great with some attention to detail

I measured ahead and was able to make changes. Great unit and if you dont intend to install it yourself, no problems
