The controls are not accessible. They are located on the bottom of the monitor. The resolution is sub par. I replaced a 15 year old Dell 24" monitor with this and with lower resolution, I can't even see all my files on the screen despite 3 more inches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the second week of use. So far everything works and performs as expected for the price range. Setup was easy, all cords are included for various connections - plug and play. Package comes with CD, but it is not required so don't worry of you do not have a CD/DVD player. All hardware is sturdy. Swivel is very nice feature. Top Height: Bottom of actual screen starts at 6.5" from table. Screen goes almost to very edge - about .25" framing. Not sure how well side-by-side setup would work, but I got the 27 inch so that I would not need the side-by-side (yet).

Just got it. Comes with cables for every option. Heavy duty sleek stand that makes it easy to raise, tilt and turn.
Buttons on bottom of unit are difficult to use as they are small toggles and hard to control.
