Portable & Stylish

We are a large family that hosts many Birthday parties and cookouts especially in the Summer and keeping up with ice is something that is always hard for us. This ice maker has been super helpful ever since we got it. I like the stylish design and it fits perfectly on our counter top and also on our outdoor picnic table. I can't wait to take it camping with us this Summer to keep our drinks cold and keep our cooler full of ice instead of driving to the store to buy more. It was super easy to set up after taking out of the box. (There's a few instructions to follow before first use). New ice was made every 5-6 minutes on average and as soon as the basket was full of ice the ice full indicator light came on. The ice comes out small but I love that because it is of a perfect size to throw in our water bottles and our glasses. This product is really neat, works well and keeps our beverages really cold.
Pros: Attractive, Quiet

I used the ice maker for Father's day. I'm quite impressed with how much ice it made. I didn't have to worry about any one going inside for ice! Love that it's portable! I can loan it to whoever is having a get together, no more ice chest ice! It's a must have for pool parties! Quite and plenty of ice

This ice maker is excellent! We have two boys who plays sports and ice baths are a regular occurrence. We also entertain quite a bit. On some weeks we go through 100 lbs or more of ice. I am able to generate the 50 lbs a day and store in our garage freezer. Thank you Ashley for helping us out!!

Makes ice fast & helps me store ice!

This has been so handy. I live in the country and fish in my own pond in my back yard. Before I had this I need to make a seven mike trip, fourteen mile round trip to the nearest convenience store just to buy ice to fill a cooler to fish in my own backyard.
The built in ice maker in my freezer does not replenish itself fast enough, it takes all day and doesn’t really produce enough ice for a cooler.
This makes nine ice cubes (bullet shape pieces of ice) approximately every five minutes. That is three dozen ice cubes in just twenty minutes. Each basket full of ice will fill up a little more than half a gallon size freezer bag full of ice. Therefore it doesn’t take too long to make several bags of ice a store in my upright freezer. In my garage. I keep at least had a dozen bags of ice in it to feel a cooler for fishing, tailgating, or whatever.
This ice maker has truly been useful.

Fantastic Unique Ice Maker

This portable ice maker is literally one of my favorites. I've used portable countertop ice makers in the past, but the AI-250W really swept me off my feet. My favorite feature about this ice maker is the amount of ice it makes within no time, which is very impressive to me.

Wonderful Product Perfect For Basement Bar

I purchased this unit for our basement bar and am 100% satisfied. It’s actually nicer than expected. The unit is very quiet and produces ice faster than I thought it would.

Hardy and dependable unit!

I absolutely love this machine! I've been using it daily for a year now and it keeps up with my excessive ice needs just as well as day one. It's easy to clean with the draining plug in the back, doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter, reliably churns out cubes, it even looks pretty stylish!

NOT EFFICIENT ENOUGH ...POOR DESIGN.

IT DOES NOT START MAKING MORE ICE SOON ENOUGH WHEN THE ICE IN THE HOLDING TRAY MELTS DOWN BECAUSE THE ICE SITS ATOP A FOLDING FLAPPER ARM IN THE INFRARED BEAM KEEPING THE MACHINE CUT OFF LONGER THAN THE ICE IN THE BASKET.THE BASKET ICE MELTS DOWN WITHOUT THE MACHINE COMING BACK ON UNTIL THE ICE ON TOP OF THE FLAPPER MELTS DOWN (LAST). THIS ALLOWS FOR NO ICE IN THE BASKET UNTIL THE ICE ON THE RED SENSOR GETS MELTED OUT OF THE WAY (WHICH ALWAYS MELTS LAST). I SUGGEST A MECHANICAL SENSOR AND NO FLAPPER FOR ICE TO SIT ON SO WHEN THE ICE MELTS DOWN A LITTLE IT CLEARS THE SENSOR AND STARTS MAKING IC AGAIN SOON ENOUGH THAT YOUR BASKET STAYS FULL OF ICE AT ALL TIMES. I DON'T LIKE TO BABY A ICE MAKER WHEN THERE ARE OTHER MODELS THAT KEEP UP THAT ARE MUCH CHEAPER.
