Sound quality isn’t just “not great”, it’s not even good. You have to have your device very close to it or it will disconnect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small portable, but very powerful sound

I just received the Crasher Mini Bluetooth Speaker, and i was really surprised at how loud the speaker was. I also liked how long the music lasted. I had taken it with me on my last vacation and was able to take it with me poolside and did not have to worry about it getting wet. Great product JLab Audio.

Consistent Poor Bluetooth Issues

Worked fine for a couple of months, then started having a bluetooth issue where it would only connect during a phone call on iOS. Customer Service asked if I had a newer iPhone and said it was an issue caused by only the new iPhones and that it wasn't an issue with the device, however I tried connecting with both and iPhone 7 and an iPhone XS, and had the exact same issue on both. Tried with an Android Phone also and it had the same issues. Connecting my iPhone works fine with other Bluetooth Speakers/Headphones I have in my possession. Looked around the internet and it seems like this device does have pretty frequent consistency issues with bluetooth.
Attempting to get a warranty on this device, but my current unit is absolutely unusable. It's a shame because the device was not bad for its value when it was working.

Small speaker, powerful sound

I received this as a gift from my brother, great little speaker, powerful sound, easy to pair and each charge last for hours and hours, my only complain would be I would love to receive gunmetal color instead of blue (but it was a gift)
