So the XA15 has a nifty sdi out on this nice 1018p camera BUT the sdi out is only 1080i in fact that is all it is (1080i) you can't change the sdi out signal!!! I hope you like to de-interlace your video! supper disappointing!

A GREAT on the go Camcorder,

I have been using this XA15 for over a year recording outdoor adventures and hunting and fishing night or day. Only thing missing is a 1/4 mic input.
I would recommend this to a friend!
