No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stovetop was provided to us in a newly built house. Used it a couple of times and it cooks evenly and is responsive to heat adjustments. The iron racks can be pushed upward and out if the way for easy clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like the gas cooker. The grate cover above the cooktop is so hard to open. My husband can’t open it either. I will have to contact whirlpool. Hopefully they don’t charge a lot

Unhappy with Whirlpool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to call service to get the cooktop repaired, because it never worked right since end of November 2024 For 3 months a brand new appliance hasn't worked correctly. They told me it wasn't registered( which I knew was registered). They wanted me to go thru the registration process again. Which I waited on the phone for an hour and a half to do last time. Now I get an email saying it was registered as I knew. So the service department has problems. I need to have my cooktop fixed now!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
