[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought his appliance and when it was unpackaged it was found to have one of the rubber feet broken off the bottom of the grate. I contacted Whirlpool and they immediately sent me a package of four rubber feet. The gas cook top is beautiful. Looks good in our kitchen. The burners light right away and run smoothly. It is a good unit.

Whirlpool cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop was part of my new home purchase. The cast iron grates are great. They don't stain like my previous LG appliance. Cooking is even and consistent and clean up is easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Biggest burners are in the back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest burners are at the back which is not where I typically cook. Frustrating that if I want to cook faster I have to put the pot farther away from me which makes it hard to stir.

Disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this almost 4 weeks ago and from the first time I used it I noticed a malfunction on one of the igniters. The issue was fixed fairly quickly thanks to the builder's intervention, mine is a brand new home equipped with Whirlpool appliances. So the "stainless steel" surface has several spots (at least 3) that are rusty. Rust on a brand new appliance that's hardly been used 3 times is significantly disappointing to say the least. I am contemplating the next course of action but the product is not good and flawless like every other Whirlpool appliance I have and experienced before. I hope this is just a "bad luck" appliance thing I'm experiencing but no, I can't give you a positive review on this product..

Poor configuration of burners on this cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the burners work, I am very frustrated with the larger ones placed in the rear and smaller ones up front. I mainly use the larger ones and this configuration is not nearly as comfortable or practical for me. The iron grates lift to clean but easily shift off their hinge in the back making it difficult to hold them up and clean at the same time. Also the grates are misaligned. This was the builder supplied counter gas stovetop and one I would never have chosen.

Gas Stove Top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first gas stove top I have used. I always had electric. I find that I like it. I feel that the food actually cooks faster. I love the grill that can be easily lifted to clean. I am enjoying it!
