Easy to clean

Cons: gas burners have lower energy than our previous stove. The knobs are made of thin plastic.

Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the new cooktop last week and installed without issue. Cooks great with evenly dispersed heat. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the arms on the grate was cracked when we got the cooktop. The arm fell off as soon as we put a pot on the stove.

Looks good but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grates don’t lay flat. They wobble or teeter because they don’t rest on all of the rubber feet. Also they don’t line up properly. Kind of annoying but I can use it to cook okay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New house, included stove. Where as I am not a fan of gas stoves. The grates on this are very high up from the flame and cook times are slow. It is virtually impossible to boil a large pot of water. To sauté and brown is very difficult. Should be lower grates or a way to raise the flame
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the cooktop installed in our new build. I had never had a Whirlpool gas cooktop before and I was pleasantly surprised. The burners are hinged and lift up for easy cleaning of the surface or they can be removed for cleaning themselves. All of the burners are great and there is enough space around each for multiple pots on the stove top.

My Gas Grilltop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came when I upgraded to the Gourmet Kitchen in the house we built. The fire doesn’t seem to ignite immediately, which I don’t care for. However, what I really don’t like is that the grills are pretty heavy and you have to take them off to clean them. You have to get them in the hole to put them back and it’s sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get it right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
