Disappointed in performance and burner positions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop came with our new home. The small burners are located in the front which does not work for me. I am constantly having to reach over to the back burner to do the bulk of my cooking. Poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the idea of hinged grates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased cooktop with new home build. Cooks great and easy to clean. Biggest problem I experienced was I raised the grate by lifting in the middle and one of the tines broke off. Whirlpool sent me a new one, but it shouldn’t have broken so easy.

So far works great but one issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it works great and has a powerful flame. However, the very first time I used it the pan I was cooking on splattered oil everywhere. This shouldn't be a big deal...it is a cooktop after all, but the oil left a reside on the burner that I have not been able to get off despite contacting customer service. It makes me concerned this cooktop cannot stand up to the regular needs of cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

new cooktop for my Christmas/Birthday gift. I am so happy that I chose the Whirlpool gas cooktop. The product works great, I have had no negative issues, I love the way it looks on my black granite countertop and, I think, it really updated my kitchen.
