Sleek Appearance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new house came with Whirlpool appliances. I've never owned a Whirlpool range, and so far it has been ok. Some issues with gas intensity but it wasn't related to the product. Lots of innovative technology, has a touch screen, pleasant chimes to let you know when timer is done.

Excellent Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came as standard with my kitchen package from my builder. The cooktop is attractive, functional, and easy to clean. I especially like the way the grates pivot up and to the back to facilitate cleaning.

Not efficient, burner and top rack are too apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home is filled with all the whirlpool appliances, I love all of them except the range! The distance between burner head and grate/rack is too high, low flame doesn't heat the pan at all. Everything needs to be cooked at high heat that too very uneven ( the flame is usually windy, probably due to high distance) .The unnecessary distance makes the heating inefficient and causes higher bills for gas. I had opportunity to see a lower trim version and it seemed much better and efficient. Really regret this purchase and I hope that whirlpool helps me fix this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this cooktop for over 3 weeks now. It has been working as advertised. I was using an older model earlier where knobs were heavy to turn, with this newer model knobs are light. So still getting used to it. One thing to watch out with any gas cooktops is to clean regularly so ignitors does not hold liquid and stop working.
