Cooktop Grates can be a safety hazard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop has plenty of BTU's and burner sizes are adequate. The grate design is very poor. With smaller pots, there is a potential for the pot to fall over. This could create a dangerous situation if the liquid is boiling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far seems to be functioning properly but there are some negatives to it. These are the negatives.... Sits very high on the counter the pot s are higher than a surface mountain one, the great should come with a broad of some sort to hold it up for cleaning so both hands are free to clean, the dials rotate in opposite direction then what is normally seen, some of the burner flames are not exactly equal flame light all the way around, and as the installer the under counter mounting brackets were useless and I had to fabricate my own under the counter mounting brackets
Now for the positive....
Nice heavy duty brakes, the sunken area underneath the burners makes cleaning easy the flame intensity it just well, it was well packaged and came with all the necessary adjustment store directly to my 3/4 inch flexible gas line. I did buy the extended warranty from a separate vendor as these things tend to fail within the first couple years or last for 50 years. My wife is very happy to have a gas range finally and this seems to be cooking.
Now for the positive....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove top came with my new home, I do like it so far. One adjustment I can see is the shape of the grill and sealers burners in front makes it harder to use larger pans with from burners
