The grate broke within 1 year

The grate snapped when I used the EZ-2-lift function. These appliances look nice but are cheaply made and not tested for durability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop came with the new construction home that I just purchased. The cooktop works as expected and looks great. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish it had a griddle.

Not bad but do have an issue

It’s a cheap builder grade counter top range. My right grate was bent, noticeable only when cooking on it. This morning it actually snapped and the right side is unusable until I can replace it. How does a cast iron grate break?
On the plus side it’s very easy to clean and all the knobs and burner components come off without tools. Just don’t use an abrasive to clean otherwise you’ll scratch it.

Easy to use, looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove approximately 4 months ago. It is easy to clean, looks great and will spruce up any kitchen. The only issues is that while the grills are easy to remove to clean, it is sometimes difficult to line them up correctly.

Easily to break

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved here in Nevada last month And this house was newly build. I was just cleaning stove and the cast iron grates was broken. Untill now I’m still waiting for whirpool to change this.
