Has anyone else noticed that the new, 360 degree turn luggage has less interior storage and is actually a bit taller than typically described due to the way the wheels extend from the luggage body? That was why I chose this piece & it's exactly what I needed. Slides right into domestic overhead and gives me a week of clothing, shoes & toiletries as long as I'm smart about how I pack.

Not A Carry-On

My wife and I are retired, and we travel both domestically and abroad a good bit. This bag is a good one for packing light, but it's dimensions exceed those required of carry-ons for most airlines. You'll find your bag being checked at the airplane door if you try to carry it on. The dimensions listed for the suitcase by Samsonite are incorrect. By the tape measure, the bag is 21.25" X 15" X 10", totaling 46.25". Too big for a carry-on! And that is with the expander zipped down. Still, I like the bag for its handiness, the ease with which it rolls, and its size, which is perfect if you prefer to travel light. Just don't use it as a carry-on.

Will not buy samsonite again

I bought this carry-on a little over a year ago. Used it 3 times (as a carry on) and the side seam ripped. I assumed it would be covered under warrenty. I was dissapointed to find out it wasn't due to normal use? Very dissapointed with quality and warrenty which means nothing. Because of this I will never buy samsonite again.
Pros: Easy To Carry
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Weak Seams
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2 wheel bags are getting extremely hard to find. The 4 wheel versions that are taking the place of the 2 wheelers are not in any way easier to travel with and don't roll straight.
