Good set, but with some issues

This set really captures the look of the New Order walkers at the end of Episode VIII. It was a fun build, though some steps in the instructions could have been made clearer, in particular mounting the side hatches.
My main complaints are a couple missing pieces, though luckily none were vital parts, and I could finish building. This is the second larger set from the Last Jedi to have missing pieces. Perhaps there's some improvements to be made in the packaging process. Poe Dameron's X-Wing was missing some as well. Though the replacement section of the site was quite simple to use, and didn't cost me a cent.
The main complaint I have is that while this set is generally sturdy, the 'neck' is very loose, and the legs seem a little flimsy too. Not fatally flimsy, but they could have been a bit stiffer for my tastes. The 'neck', however, just flops around.
The sides of the head too could have used a little more support.
Complaints aside, it is a pretty good set, and I don't regret purchasing it.

Hi there! Thanks for your review. I've just tested out our copy of the set here in the office, and the neck definitely shouldn't be floppy! Is it possible that a piece in that joint might be out of place? If something's a little off in the build, that'd cause the sort of issue you've experienced. As for those pesky parts, I'm glad you got it in touch. It's very unusual for a LEGO® set to be missing any pieces. (Usually they're found stuck in the packaging or hiding on the floor!) But in the rare case something is missing, we're always here to help.

It is one of my favorite sets from the last Jedi line so far, it is complicated at some parts but once it’s done it makes up for its design, but it is mostly a model but can play with it. I would recommend this set

One of My Favorite Sets

I got this set for my birthday, and I have to say it is one of my favorite sets. It looks amazing and has tons of features (such as the rotating gun at the top) that makes it fun to play with. It also has lots of detail and looks good enough to be a display set. This was a great addition to my collection.

I know that The Last Jedi was not well recieved by many fans. But, for my part, I really liked TLJ. And the heavy walker, seen on Crait, is a real beauty of engineering. This LEGO set is a beautiful renderer. Looks very agressive, I like that a lot. I like the different tones of gray, makes it more accurate. The coolest part of this set is the heavy cannon, on the top of its back. A bit expensive, like most Star Wars sets, but so attractive in a glass display. A good purchase.

Was a fun build and were no stickers which was great. Playability is very good an the set is very sturdy. However, the price wasn't great for 1300 pieces unless it was on sale. But the price isn't bad compared to some other sets. Overall great set!

THE WALKER !!

Definitely one to keep you interested throughout the entire build, as always I never put a time limit on any of my builds ! Just set up a quiet and peaceful work area and just do it. Certainly the only way to enjoy Lego construction sets regardless of size and level of challenge. Definately one for both Lego fans and Star Wars fans !!, both will love this excellent set.
