Amazing Set

The BB-8 Set is one of the best Lego Sets I have brought to date. The unique design poses an interesting and fun building period. The build was slightly smaller than expected but the end result is truly amazing.
Highly recommend. I'm surprised it isn't advertised as a UCS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I liked the white and orange colors. This is my first "round" build so I looked forward to it. I also like the mechanism build. This is a positive comment, I am reviewing this after 2 other builds that are newer but I am amazed at the really good pricing on the this set. It displays very well.

I really enjoy this set. All the features work well so far, and it looked nice. However, when building it it has you use three pieces (those little 1*2 technic brick thingies and two of those pins with studs on one end) to basically get the same result they would’ve gotten with one of those 1*2 SNOT pieces.

This is one of the best Star Wars sets that Lego has produced in a long time. It is definitely worth the price you pay for it.
Pros: The overall model looks just like BB-8 and I love the head's movement feature.
The thumb's up torch is a nice easter egg and it's fun to use.
Overall, this set looks excellent on display next to the UCS R2-D2.
Cons: I wish this came with a new exclusive print for the BB-8 minifigure. It doesn't look bad but it could use a bit more detail.
The plaque seems too small and out of place with the rest of the UCS sets.

Absolutely loved this build! Technic builds give me a bit of anxiety but it was delightful to see how engaging BB-8 becomes!

Perfect replica. Was a bit challenging and it was a pretty crude design. But all in all, it's my favorite set so far. I recommend this set to any medium skilled LEGO builders.
