Great little set

This set was fun to build and at the price is good value for money. Yes its repetetive as its a sphere but the level of movement and doing it in small stages makes it fun .

I'm a BB8 mega fan, and when I got this for Christmas (even at 21) I was really exited to get it built.
It's great as a display piece and the mechanical parts are just the cherry on top - the little arc welder thumbs up is brilliant!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really easy to build, nice little additions (not spoiling) but its so cool! in my top 3 Lego sets! (Wallee and Porche 911 as the other 2)
Comes with a nice stand so you can display it too!

This was my first build since I was a little kid. I wanted to build again because it has been years. This was perfect to get back into it. Not too big or too small. Would definitely recommend this to everyone as it is a fun project.

BB8 is an awesome character and this set captures him perfectly.
The build was great and I would like to congratulate the designer, the engineering that has gone into the mechanism that controls BB8's head and torch is great.
Well done Lego (maybe a upto date R2d2 is needed)

Fun set to build

This set is very fun and challenging to build. It contains 6 separate bags for different sections of BB-8. I suggest paying close attention while putting this together, it starts getting confusing if you lose your spot. There are a lot of little pieces in each bag as well. I think it would make it easier if there was a way for the LEGO company to highlight in the instruction booklet where the next pieces are going on the set. Sometimes it’s really hard to see where the pieces are going. All in all, fun set to build!

This was a fun set to put together. My son got it for Christmas and we each took turns helping him build it. BB-8's head even moves very similarly to the movie character which is fun. It is a really well-designed set.

I am an expert builder and it takes not a lot of time for me to build, it's an amazing set and everything about it is amazing. The play rating for me is a zero because I don't play with legos, I collect. Over all it's great!
