Recently bought my second Blue Pure 131, as my first (2 yrs old) was damaged when my 3 mastidane pups knocked it over onto the wood floor--and the fan was damaged. This air purifier is excellent is so many ways, but I wish it was more durable--or repairable. ALSO, should be made in USA!!

Simple and Elegant Workhorse!

We're all learning how important indoor air quality is. I own several premium air purifiers; I am the do-the-research guy. Here is the skinny: The filter is so large - the entire bottom section is the filter - ON ALL 4 SIDES - hooray! Think xtra-large office wastebasket and you've got the idea. It is Scandinavian in look and stance - simple elegance. Single Button - no wifi - no remote; your dollar goes toward maximum efficiency - low noise and great looks. I'm sharing a picture without the color-matching pre-filter. I will also show the unit taken apart into 3 pieces - the top (motor/fan/control button), the metal pre-filter and the giant filter itself. Seriously the filters is 6-8x the size of any other purifier filter I've seen! The pre-filters that reside over the metal cage simply slide on like socks and extend the life of the primary filter; plus they're fun and help you match the room. Another great feature is the large single button control embossed with the blue logo word. It brightens for a few seconds to tap it once for on/off or sequentially for level 1, 2 or 3. Then it gracefully dims to resume its understated presence in the room. It does such a quiet-great job of improving the air and keeping dust off my hard surfaces and expensive electronics. Couldn't recommend it more and I can honestly say you would spend 2-3x the cost to even approach the clean air delivery rate and structural quality.

This is my 3rd and last cleaner. I can now wake bright eyed and clog free. I'm impressed with the design of the Blue 121. It's all filter. Consumer Reports puts them 10 ponts above the closest competitor. It moves a great deal of air on medium and has a very relaxing white noise to it. I'm going to replace my Dyson in the bedroom with a smaller Blue. Thanks for clearing me up!
