The speed is not fast enough, and the signal penetration ability is poor. There's almost no signal in the 5,000-foot basement.

The wifi it provides seems to work okay, however; features standard on every router I have ever owned are packaged and sold as a premium feature of the circle app for an extra $50 a year. The ability to monitor traffic through your router is not premium, the cheapest routers have had this built-in for over a decade. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Frequent Network dropping

This unit was great for roughly a year, when all of a sudden I would be getting frequent (3-4 times a day where I noticed) network drop. It really seems to be hit and miss as I've spent time on the Netgear community site and found this to be a common issue. People have found ways to fix it, but it seems to be require deep technical knowledge and being able to Telnet into the device and other more complicated steps that goes beyond most peoples capabilities. You can buy support for another $120 for 6 months; however there is no guarantee that it will get fixed.

Easy installation, good coverage

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get this system up and running, but the last one I tried to do was ancient technology, by comparison. We have had very stable WiFi since the purchase and one computer connected by ethernet is working great, too. It was more expensive than I expected, but not struggling for hours to get the system running was worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having eight or nine devices utilizing Wi-Fi, we were periodically running into issues of losing or not having proper connections to our devices. Our home has approximately 4000 square feet of living space, with devices on each of the three levels. Upon ordering and easily installing the Netgear Orbi AC3000 system, our problem was successfully solved. We are 100% satisfied, therefore a five star rating.

I got 2000 sqft two story house, this mesh can't even cover my bedroom. Go get a better router not this mesh.
