Fan has good power on all 3 speed. Looks very stylish in bronze and well built. When turning on the misting system best to use the fan on high speed. The fan and mister does keep you cool in the heat. The misting system could have a finer mist but a little dampness in the summer heat feels nice. Does drip on the base a little but you can always set the fan on the grass. The water connector is fixed and when you connect it to the hose the tube bends like a coil. The connector could use a rubber washer between the valve and the tube connector to prevent leaks. But all in all the misting fan does keep you cool during the summer heat.
Pros: Has a circuit breaker, Heavy electric cord, Water shuts off easily with the valve., Well built, looks nice
Cons: Fan does not install easily to extension tube., Fixed water connector, Fan vibration,

Excellent Fan That Moves Tons of Air & Water

Currently we use this fan without the misting feature as we only have indoor uses for it. That being said, this is an excellent fan! It really moves a ton of air and can be easily moved and directed wherever it is needed. In the early morning, we set it up next to an open door and it pulls cold air into the house very quickly. The fan is very well made and feels like it will last a lifetime. When I did test the misting, the fan pushed way too much water through the misting nozzles. In retrospect I should tried controlling the water flow using the included valve.
Pros: Easy To Install, Good Power Output, Great speed settings, High quality
Cons: A Tad Noisy, But Not Unexpected, Water Control Can Be Difficult

Living in Phoenix, AZ the summers can make being outdoors intolerable. With this misting fan we are able to comfortably and safely spend time out there. It's misting ability is powerful but still gentle. It was so easy to set up with the garden hose, and very portable. The base is very sturdy so I don't have to worry about the kids being around it. This product also has a very beautiful and high quality appearance to it. Very happy with it and looking forward to being able to spend more time outside this summer.
Pros: Easy To Install

Like sitting in the shower....

Newair harassed me to fill out the review. Normally I try to avoid being negative. The unit uses your garden hose to spray water while the fan blows. Unfortunately this creates a bit of a rain effect to those sitting in range of the fan. There is too much water and difficult to stem the flow of heavy mist coming through the system. Even in arid Texas this is a bit much. I missed the return window (by a long shot) due to a remodel project so did not feel like going through the return battle.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Drenches you with water, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The perfect addition to our South Florida HOT patio

I am very impressed with the quality and the functionality of this fan. My small patio was lacking personality and it was neglected, mostly because we couldn't deal with the heat, especially in the summer months. This great addition makes the weather more bearable while we enjoy the dry air as well as the fine mist, making it our own little cool zone at home! Thanks, NewAir - Flavia @ Neat House. Sweet Home™

Am so glad we got this mister before this July heat really kicked in. I have never had a fan with a mist and really find it makes the heat so much more tolerable. My boyfriend assembled fairly quickly and now wants another one for our place in Vegas (where the dry heat is very intense). Good misting flow as well. Highly recommend.

This fan fits well in my backyard with a nice design and color to it .. the brown is very pleasant and familiar in backyard furnitures and matches great .. the fan is very powerful and can be placed out of the way at a distance .. there are lots of misting nozzles too for a full mist effect / cooling effect .. the on off pull switch is easy to operate the various speeds .. and the oscillation pull/push knob on top is classic and easy to operate .. very solid metal fan overall ..

This is a great product. We live in a very hot area of Southern California. No where near the beach and it gets hot! We've had many days over 106 degrees! This fan has helped us be able to utilize our outdoor patio more frequently. It makes sitting outdoors much more pleasant. Cools it down immensely! The mist it sends out really cools down the area. We sit outside more often now. It's like being at a resort that has those misters outdoors.
