Powerful but quiet machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chopping or Blending, this powerful machine gets it done! So much quieter than old fashioned blender models! It won't wake up the household if you decide on a late night smoothie blend. This machine has a substantial, solid feel to it but it's light enough to be portable and easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Blender the same day it arrived and I'm pleased to say l like it! I absolutely LOVE the noise reduction cover, it reduces the sound of the Blender quite a bit. I followed the directions for cleaning and it came out sparkling clean with no residue from the food left behind. I gave my old blender away and will continue to use the HAMILTON BEACH 950.

Powerful blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is quite tall even with the shield closed. It does sit under the kitchen cabinet but it has to be pulled out completely from under the cabinet to open and close the shield. It may be a bit quieter than a regular blender but not a whole lot, and not by 55%. We made a milk shake and the ice cream did not dissolve completely, even after blending more than once. I haven't made a smoothie but will try that soon. Ice cubes crushed completely. It looks nice on the countertop and operates like a heavy duty blender. I like the glass container versus plastic, but would prefer that it not have the extra cover because it really doesn't run quieter, so for that reason I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Amazing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is amazing, comes with a spatter guard to keep my kitchen clean, has a powerful motor, but is so quiet that my husband can watch TV in the next room and not be disturbed by me in the kitchen blending a batch of butternut squash into an amazing soup within a matter of seconds.
Love the glass jar, easy to clean and can be put on the top rack of my dishwasher. Love, love love and will recommend this blender to all of my friends.

Powerful blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the blender a few days ago and have great plans for my Christmas meal prep. It is larger than I anticipated, but I do like that the glass container is heavy and quite substantial. I do not think the sound shield filters out that much sound, but that is not an important issue for me. I use my blender for smoothies, iced coffees, and cheesecake batter. It is excellent for all of these. I find that it is easier, for my use, to remove the shield in order to add ingredients. The lid has a firm fit. All in all, I find this to be a very powerful and useful blender.

It Really Does The Job

Quick, quiet and thorough, this machine really lives up to it's copy. If W.C. Fields had one of these, I think he would have written 'love' letters to the company!
