Cheaply made I think broken after third use

My mom bought this set for my husband and I, at first I did not like the design with the whole space theme I thought it was child like but I got over it quickly. I did like this set until the whole wheel portion of shell cracked almost all the way off. We’ve only used this a few times as we only travel once or twice a year so this had me really upset because she got it Christmas before this past one so there is no way to return but it was stored away in closet when not being used so it should have never broke this way.

NOT sturdy. Cracks easily

I have had my American Tourist suitcase for a little over a year. The past two times I have received it back from Southwest Airlines it has been cracked. First time was a corner crack and tonight it was cracked even more. I requested this suitcase from my spouse as I heard nothing but great things about the brand but now I am concerned about the sturdiness of this suitcase. I do not recommend to others as I had at the beginning of our purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

I purchased a whole set of these in May of 2024 but have only used the largest one so far. I used it for the first time on July 19th. We noticed that it wasn't standing up straight when we arrived at our destination. Upon closer inspection, we found that one of the wheels was poking into the suitcase itself. The surrounding material was cracked. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I was to discover this. I am also afraid to use the other two. I realize that baggage handlers at US airports can be a bit rough, but I think these luggage pieces should be able to withstand it.

First time with a hard shell luggage and it's the worst. I totally get scratches but in the case its beyond scratches. Two parts on each luggage is damaged so bad. This is my first time using this luggage. So disappointed. I've seen other hard case luggage and it's not near as bad as what my luggage have been through.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily

Damaged Suitcase... Customer Service Awful!

I can't believe that I just saw another review about this same suitcase being damaged!! I bought this for my daughter to make her first trip on a plane special, however it arrived looking as if it had been used several times - scuffs, scratches and dents all over. I called customer service, they directed me to an email address to send photos - no response. I called back only to get the same response... so I obliged and sent the photos and email AGAIN. Two weeks later, I just received an automated response stating that I need to re-buy the item and they'll send a sticker for the return. Are you kidding me??????

I was so excited to have beautiful matching luggage. Unfortunately on our second trip out the air handlers crushed the corner of the suitcase with the wheel making it unusable in addition to gouges and scratches. It is now unusable. Now that I have read other reviews, I will look for something else.
