We haven't used them yet (we got two), but I think on some trips we'll be able to travel with carry-ons and under-seaters and avoid checking bags! The bags are bigger than I expected and can easily hold enough clothes for a weekend.

I like a small carryon for a change of clothes, book, snacks etc. in case I get stuck at an airport. This is perfect for that, plus room for a tablet, toiletries, water bottle and more. Spinner wheels make it a breeze to get through crowds, and a trolley strap attaches it to my big bag when I get to my destination.
