I received a free sample to write the review. I was excited but once I received it I didn`t know if I wanted it. I ended up liking the product in the end. The product came with a black canvas bag, attachments for hair length and trimmer. I like the bag because it keeps everything together. The outside of the trimmer feels smooth and the unit is light weight. I thought it was going to be poor quality because of this. I thought the blades were going to pull my face hair when trimming. It did a great job and trimmed with ease. The blades were smooth and cut the hair right next to the skin and didn`t pull at all. The battery length held up for several trims and didn`t need to be recharged.
Pros: light charged and ready to go., didn't pull hair
I would recommend this to a friend!

To begin, I was given this product as a free sample to try. Overall, this was a great beard trimmer and gave me a nice even trim. The variety of attachment lengths are great for the beard or trimming other areas of the body. The only negatives I would give are the pouch to store the trimmer is a little small and the attachments, trimmer, and cord need to fit exact in order for it to close. Also, to charge the trimmer it uses a usb cable. I would have preferred a regular plug so I can charge it in the bathroom as opposed to plugging it into my laptop. Aside from these 2 areas I thought it was a good product and easy to travel with.

Portable, easy to use

I received a free sample of the Norelco Beard Trimmer 1000, I used the product for a week and a half and was not overly impressed with the item. I used the different attachments provided and those were easy to use and worked quite well. What I didn’t like was when I didn’t use any of the attachments, I cut myself 2-3 times, which obviously had a negative affect on my review of the product. Charging the beard trimmer was easy with the usb power chord provided, depending on the price point would have a major determination if I were to buy this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good shave. Bad trimmers.

Most reviews are done right after getting the product. If I’d reviewed it then you’d see 4 or 5 stars. But after some use, maybe 13 or 14 times, the stubble trimmers broke off small delicate pieces that keep them on the blade. Now they slip off and ruin the trim. I’ve searched all over to get new ones - impossible!

I bought this beard trimmer about a week ago. It came with a charged battery so I used it immediately after opening the package. Since it worked as expected, I threw away my receipt. I decided to charge the trimmer a couple days later because I needed to use it. After charging it all night, the battery was completely dead. I tried 2 other charging cables and USB plugs but the battery still will not charge. I'd recommend going to a barbershop or hair stylist for a trim before paying $20+ for a one time use, disposal beard trimmer.
Pros: none
Cons: worked 1 day
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still pulls hair

I bought this trimmer specifically because it claimed to have a no pull guarantee. When trimming with US trimmers I always get hair caught and pulled which is painful and uncomfortable.

I received this trimmer for agreeing to write a review. I have used other Norelco trimmers as well as other trimmers / electric shavers in the past and this was definitely the entry-level bargain trimmer. First the pros. Relatively quiet simple straightforward, and did not pull. Cons. I didn`t like the grip, it could have used a little bit of rubber, I did not like the USB charging as most people Trim in the bathroom and there are not many USB charging ports in the bathroom, and it did not get particularly close when not using any of the guards as opposed to previous trimmers.
Pros: it works
Cons: poor grip, usb charger
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
