New Electric Range is wonderful!

It is sleek and beautiful and immediately filled the kitchen with magic! The range is sooo sleek and fits perfectly in the space provided. It heats up instantly-no waiting. The modern cooking features are suitable for any chef or any novice in the kitchen!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent, not great...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a builder's grade supplied range The oven will cook a bit faster than your recipe may call for, and there are only 2 racks; 3 would be much better. Oven has a nice cool down feature when you are done cooking. A convection feature would have made this a much better buy. range. The stove top grids, with small and large heating surfaces are okay, be better if one of the 4 was a warm spot vs. all heat
levels. Worse feature: black ceramic top stains, scratches and does not clean easily nor well.

Great looking and very functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way this range looks in my kitchen. The top overlaps the edge of the stone counters giving it a smooth clean look. I have been cooking with gas for several years and was a little concerned about using electric but the burners heat up quickly and the cooktop is easy to clean. We are very happy with our purchase.

Missing features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing wrong with this but missing features of my old GE stove. Display doesn't show oven temperature, just the temperature you have it set at-it will beep when it reaches this temperature but you can't tell if it is nearly there and it is ok to put your food in it. Small burners both on the back of the cooktop-would have been better to have at least one in the front where it is easier to reach. First time using the oven I spilled a little spaghetti sauce and a big blob of red sauce ended up between the two layers of glass of the oven door. There is no way to remove this and so now I have a prominent display of tomato sauce for everyone to see on my oven door.

Disappointed

I have had a Frigidaire Gallery for 18 years same as the one shown above that I purchased and was happy with it. However, the newer one has a plastic plate that the knobs connect to and the black paint chips and the chipped pieces under it are white. Looks awful. The oven tracks do not hold the weight of an 18# turkey and do not slide in and out easily, instead they fall off the track. This glass top is impossible for me to keep clean. I never had that problem before, so I believe the quality is not the same and the price is higher. I still like my range but spend so much time trying to clean it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean and buff with a clean paper towel. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. Cooktop cleaning creams leave a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions.
