Good features for preparing tax return

I purchased the software two weeks ago. Used it to prepare family returns also.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have been using HR Block for the last 10 years. This 2019 and 2018 was exceptional. I had to refile because of an error. The software walked me through and it was as easy as 123. It saved me at least $400.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

A few flaws but saves $$$

I've been using H&R Block Premium & Business since 2006 and am overall happy with the product. However, like every app, it does have its flaws. This version seemed to require the user to have more knowledge of tax regulations and forms than previous versions. I hired a CPA to do my 2016 & 2017 taxes and found they also made a few mistakes making depreciation assumptions instead of asking me for history clarification. I save over $1500 (business and personal) and am more confident it is accurate doing it myself. The 2018 individual version imported 1 field of pdf 2017 data incorrectly that luckily showed as an error to correct in the final review. As of April 6 H&R Block failed to include AZ state form 352, a TAX CREDIT form for donating to Qualified Foster Care Charitable Organizations causing me not to donate to an organization I have previously supported.

Easy to use and an excellent tax software

I began using H&R Block Basic Software more than 5 years ago with a recommendation from a family member and it is perhaps one of the best investments I could have made. It meets all of my tax preparation needs and arrives on time each year during tax season. In addition, H&R Block offers outstanding tax support and is noted for its highly qualified tax professionals who are ready to answer questions and relieve frustrations around some of the most difficult tax problems.
Kudos are in order for H&R Block and thank you for being there when I was holding my head in my hands and suddenly remembered there was no need to worry as tax support was just a click or a phone call away.
