So Uncomfortable

Chair looks fine, is a good size so doesn't take up a lot of room BUT...the seat is fixed and it is like perching on a slab of concrete! I have tried padding it with a variety of things including a memory foam cushion (but this then makes you sit far too high on the chair), blankets, soft cushions on the seat and behind my back but NOTHING is working. There is also a smell coming off the chair but it's the discomfort that is the main issue.
So sad as I had great hopes for it to meet my needs. If I could have "tried it out" in the local Best Buy store, I would never have purchased it.
