This is a small space-saving printer and is used at home. The instruction manual is not only worthless, but it's worthless in 4 languages. Printing is not easy to set up on PC. Copying is somewhat intuitive. I've watched two youtube tutorials and I still can't figure out how to scan because i can't find the dialogue boxes & shortcuts that should be included in the device when I set it up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a good printer. Copies (Black and White and Color) print well. The only problem with copying and scanning is that any blank space turns black using the printer ink. Not a good feature in my opinion.

Nice small compact printer the only hold back there should be better instructions on how and what all the buttons do. Even online the instructions were not clear.

I like that the printer doesn't make a loud sound when I turn it on. I like the ink program so far. Best of all is the support team of people available to solve any problem I've had.
I don't like that I can't copy a page from a book. I don't like that I have to press the on/off button twice to turn it on or off. The bottom tray does not catch the paper at all.
Over all, for the price, I would buy it again. I have had very good service from my 2 HP computers and hopefully now from the printer.
