Lost use of black ink.

Lost the use of black ink no fix for it. 1st time I have had a printer fail on me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printer works well, but not enough instructions included to set it up for printing from a phone, without using wifi hookup, had to contact customer support, who helped by indicating what apps need to be downloaded for it to work. It is not a one step process for printing from phone alone, need to turn data off on phone, before it will print. Gave this printer a 5 star because it does work when you get it all figured out, and customer support were finally able to figure things out.

The printer itself functions well.
However, the lack of assembly and guide to installation and hookup left a lot to be desired.
It seems Hewlett Packard does not account for the fact that not all its users may be as tech savvy as HP is. The lack of a toll free assistance line was another negative.

Great little color printer for home use and certainly worth the money. I was hesitant to purchase it in the first place because the price was so low, but I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. I based my purchase on the fact that the name HP means quality so I took the chance. Good decision.
