Good printer, but poor copier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP DeskJet 3755 works fine as a printer, but not so good at making copies. I must have tried making copies a dozen times, but it always comes out off kilter with black margins. The problem is that there is no no document feed tray, so you must feed the document by hand. Despite my best efforts, I have yet to successfully product a clean copy. This is a design issue, so I'm going to try to craft a feed tray out of a stiff file folder taped onto the printer.
Also, it seems this printer can only copy a full sheet, but not other shapes or sizes of documents, like photos, newspaper clippings, ID cards, or checks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed so far, I've only had it for about a week. The setup was pretty easy, the ink cartridges were the only thing I had trouble with. They push into their slots pretty hard. Other than that, I've been pleased.
