Broke first week

It is a beautiful range. Everyone loves the way it looks. It feels high end. Unfortunately the oven does not cook. It turns itself off during the pre heat cycle every time. We had GE come look at it and even their own technician doesn't know how to fix it. Now I have a very expensive, beautiful range that doesn't cook.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had this product installed a month ago and admittedly am still learning the best way to use it to our advantage. The griddle is nice but comes with no instruction on how to effectively clean or re-season if need be. The grates are nice but easily scuff. The smell coming from the oven is still extremely strong and unpleasant and I have used both ovens multiple times. I believe it is baking hot and will need to check with a thermometer to be sure.The look is high end and looks great in our kitchen. Will see how it performs over a long period of time.

So happy with this range! Made cornbread in small oven and it was perfect! Easy to adjust burner temperature (not like my old gas range that was very difficult to adjust).
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works great, but not the quality expected

The burners and griddle are fantastic great control, but it has plastic knobs not sure why they would cheap out on those, but outside of that it's a great working unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unusable

My range was installed over a month ago but the conversion kit for the propane was left on the back - and hence unreachable - once it was installed. I have been unable to get anyone to respond to me on getting a duplicate kit or to help move the range so I can access the kit that came with it - so the range has been unusable since it was installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice!

Replaced a 20 yo Dacor with this GE Cafe and overall it’s been an upgrade. Burners actually have a true simmer setting which our Dacor did not. No more burning rice! Love that the knobs are metal and not plastic and that all the burners light easily and smoothly. We like the griddle but do wish you could remove it for cleaning. Following the cleaning instructions it’s not been an issue (scrape it while it’s hot which is easy because it takes forever to cool down!) but removal for deep cleaning would be convenient. The griddle discolored after the first use (just heating plain tortillas) which was disappointing but we bought the bamboo cutting board accessory to cover it when not in use so it looks much cleaner. Love the reversible grates for woks. My only complaint is that the smaller oven is very narrow and a 9x13 pan is the largest I can put in there. We opted for the copper trim kit and it is gorgeous!

What an amazing range!

We purchased this range after living the last five years with a Blue Star. I did a ton of research prior to our last purchase and felt, at the time we made a good choice. We were wrong. This range looks like a piece of art but don't let that fool you. This baby really cooks (literally). The ovens both heat up to full temperature in 10 min or less. They also are very well insulated and do not make you kitchen hot. The burners offer a wide range of options and are extremely precise in the flame when you are dialing in different settings. I am shocked at how precise they are. The ability to connect your phone to the ovens and preheat them, change temps and control them in general is a huge bonus. Both ovens come with a built in temp probe. After spending last Christmas cooking a roast and open the closing the door ten times checking my temps and rotating the roast around, this is like a dream come true. Even cooking and did I say air fryer? Yes.....BOTH ovens can be used as an air fryer. After spending a large sum on the unit prior to this and being disappointed, we were hesitant but pulled the trigger on this range and boy are we glad that we did that. I can't recommend it enough.
