[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the product requires assembly, the enginneers who designed did an extremely well thought out design. It was easy to assemble while providing a finished quality product that is stable and will last for years. No need to handle with kid gloves the product will stand up to hard use.

Fantastic Storage Cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GearBox to fill a space in my garage that was a little too small for the 30" cabinet. I was worried about about the sturdiness of a cabinet that required some assembly compared to the 24 and 30" GearBox's that come pre-assembled, but that worry was for nothing! The GearBox was easy to assemble; the interlocking tabs, screws, and bolts all tightened up into one sturdy little cabinet. The magnet door latches built into the shelves was a nice touch for a long lasting design. I'm very excited about adding the storage space to my garage!

Great Garage Cabinet...easy to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These garage cabinets are superb. Total assembly time was approximately 30 minutes for me. The cabinet arrived in perfect condition due to the excellent packing with styrofoam protection. The instructions were straightforward and thorough. An added bonus is these cabinets have been updated from a previous generation, and now include a cord cutout in the bottom. This makes it easy to store cordless tool battery chargers or other electronics inside of the cabinet. Hanging the cabinet on the Gladiator Gear Wall is a piece of cake, but the cabinet can also be installed on any solid wall surface provided you can mount through the back of the cabinet wall. Note that the mounting hole locations are 23.5" center-to-center, so an intermediate board may be needed to ensure solid support into a standard 2x4 stud wall. Be sure to properly support the cabinet and use lag screws to attach it to the wall, should you choose not to use the Gear Wall though. Using the Gear Wall, it is easy to hang this cabinet and also simple to re-arrange storage on a wall as your needs change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gearbox was a breeze to assemble. Instructions were clear and simple and most importantly everything is intuitive. I only referred to the instructions to confirm the steps.
The cabinet is very sturdy. This thing is going to last for generations to come. It's so heavy duty cabinet so I'm not afraid to throw my tools in there.
I love the clean and tidy look it brings to my garage and will be getting a few more to cover the entire wall in cabinets.
Highly recommend A+++

Solid Piece of Garage Storage!

All of the parts inside were packed well and damage-free (although I was sorry to see the use of styrofoam in the packaging). I built the cabinet with my 7-year old son and it took us around 30-45 minutes. The directions were good but not great. It was hard to see details of the parts that could have been more helpful when arranging the pieces. The storage box is very solid and study after building it. My only small grip is that it's not easy to figure out the best adjustment/tweak so that the swinging doors will match up perfectly. It's not a big deal but it would be nice if the gaps matched up. I am looking forward to hanging this up on the wall and loading it up with all of my car care products. My kids and wife love the look of the Gladiator components and so do I!

Great wall storage box

Gearbox is easy to hang on existing GearTrack or GearWall system. Great additional storage and complementing my Gladiator Toolbox

Easy Assembly and Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy assembly though it does take a little time. Be patient. When doing final tightening of bolts, check cabinet squareness. Measure corner to corner on back of cabinet to ensure squareness. I have several of the Gladiator Pre-Assembled cabinets from several years ago. Those cabinets are very sturdy. The newer Ready to Assemble cabinets at first glance seem to be not as sturdy. But wait, I was wrong. Once all the fasteners are tightened properly the RTA cabinets are very sturdy and durable. Along with the fact how great they look in your garage or utility room. Pricing is ok considering these are better than basic cabinets. Another nice feature about the Gladiator Cabinet Series is the convenience of simple flat wall / stud hanging with simple hardware. Or, as I have done for all my Gladiator wall cabinets, I installed the GearWall panels on 2 sides of my garage and then used the GearTrack Channel on areas that just needed a small mounting header. Either of these 2 mounting systems make it convenient to hang any cabinet and if needed later, move (slide) the cabinets to a new location. Decent cabinets at a decent price.
