The lock is worthless. I also wish the doors were more robust.

Key can't be removed when "locked"

This is pointless in terms of locking storage, because the key can only be removed when the cabinet is unlocked. If it is in the "locked" position, the key can't be taken out. A complete waste of several hundred dollars.

Needs casters

I have 4 of these units plus 4 of the lower units. The lower units all have casters which is great for cleaning out my garage. I'm so mad that there are no caster options for these 4 units. I thought I would have the option to purchase casters in the future. They are built and in my garage. I cannot paint behind them or clean under them without emptying each cabinet. It's horrible engineering and design. I'd prefer them to place a warning in them to place heavy items on the bottom shelf to prevent them falling over.

Dear Consumer:
We appreciate you taking the time to leave your comments and feedback on your experience with the Ready-to-Assemble Large GearBox cabinet. Feedback from our customers is an important source of information as it is how we gauge our success as well as identify possible areas that may require improvement.
It's a good practice to put heavy items on the bottom, we will consider adding that to our use and care guide. Due to the height of these cabinets, installing casters could cause the cabinets to tip over, so we cannot recommend caster installation. We sincerely regret the frustration and inconvenience you experienced, and we will forward a copy of your concerns to the appropriate departments for future updates. Sincerely,
Gladiator customer care team
