Love this new cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heats up induction pans fast and even. Easy to clean and looks great. Didn't have any trouble learning to use the sliding scale for heat setting. Very happy with my purchase. Christmas dinner came out great even though I'd only had it for 2 days.

Does a great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about a month ago. I have not been more happier. So far no issues. Heating and cooking is quick and fast. Cleaning is a breeze. A must have in every kitchen! Frigidaire is usually not considered a premium brand when it comes to their appliances. But this induction cooktop is super classy and is of premium quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used our cooktop for about two months now and absolutely love it. I was fine with electric but my husband loves gas. We did some research and found that induction was similar to gas and even many professional chefs used induction. We could not be happier. I didn't think it would make much of a difference to me, but I can tell you that boiling water is super fast, getting temps ups is super fast and it's pretty much instantaneous when you turn the setting down. Absolutely great!
PS - Some of the reviews said it was a little loud. We don't think that at all. Gas is much louder.

Low profile - right size

Loved it but now it has a major crack after short time of use

I absolutely LOVED this cooktop for a long time! It was the first time I had an induction cooktop but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to clean and use. Was over the moon and then I was wiping it down one morning and it CRACKED! A huge crack to the point where it is dangerous and no longer usable.
Will not buy again as it's too much of an investment to have this happen and render useless. Very disappointed!

Decent Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop itself looks great and works perfectly fine. My only gripe is that, when powering on or turning the heat up (from a lower level to higher level), there is a slight lag in the change. For example, going from cooking at level 8 and trying to move up to level 9, it takes about 1.5 - 2 seconds for the change to occur. While this isn't a huge flaw, it is annoying compared to my 5-year old Electrolux induction top I had previously, which changed instantly. Frigidaire owns Electrolux, so I would assume that they would incorporate at least 5-year-old technology from their own company.
I would recommend this to a friend!
