Battery life ROCKS!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone a month ago and the battery life is insanely awesome. Compared to the LG G3 this thing blows it out of the water. I would say it lasts at least twice if not three times as long. As of right now I've had the phone on full brightness running GPS, Bluetooth, Google Maps, Pandora and right now it's at 22% after running with no charger since 7 a.m., currently 1:30 p.m. right now.(screen is off intermittently for brief periods of time during this usage) the fingerprint scanner is absolutely incredible. It beats having to type in a password every time your phone screen turns off which is a super Big Time Saver. The processor is plenty fast and the volume is definitely okay. I really like the fast switch when you double tap the multi-window key, it saves time between having to search previous running apps. also, the camera blows the LG G3 out of the water. It takes incredible shots in low-light... And it doesn't do that bad in complete dark situations. I'm not sure what's up with the signal on my phone which is connected to T-Mobile but even though it shows only one or two bars it's still is screaming fast. My LG G3 on T-Mobile has four or five bars in the exact same area but is slower. I don't really care what the bars look like but I do care about the performance of the data connection which this clearly is much better on. I love my LG G3 but this phone is definitely three generations ahead, and it shows that they've done some serious homework in making this phone a flagship. Oh, it barely even gets warm with everything running full blast. Did I mention its an amazing phone?

New LG G6+ has Defective Display, Defective USB-C

I purchased the 6+ as a new phone very recently and am very disappointed at the quality control or lack thereof with this supposedly "flagship" unit. Here are the problems right out of the box:
1. the display is defective. There is very noticeable backlight bleed along the entire bottom edge of the screen. This is extremely distracting when watching any video content, making it impossible to enjoy whatever you're viewing.
2. the USB-C port is already loose. This is with the very first connection! I've owned many iphones and ipads and the lightning port was always rock solid and secure, even after many years of use. If the power and data port is already loose on day 1, the long term prospects are very poor.
3. battery performance is below average. Even with screen brightness set well below 50%, I'm only getting 2 to 3 hours of on screen time according to a popular battery app.
4. This phone is "stuck" on Android 8. There are no further updates available, not even to Android 9. Android 11 is already available for 2019 phones and this phone can't even get to 9.
LG has publicly announced that it plans (or hopes) to return to profitability. How do they expect to do so when they can't even deliver a functional display or usb-c port on their top of the line phone???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is underrated and mostly ignored by reviewers, especially considering it's quality. With current pricing it's a great deal.
Camera(s) are really good, battery life so so, but manageable.
Display is good, not being an oled wasn't a concern to me.
Like any glass phone a good case is mandatory.
My main issue with this phone is that it came with Android 7.0 installed
and no update is available, and we're up to version 8.1.
LG really needs to do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried replacing Windows Phones with Android a couple of times before, but they were slowed due to lack of memory and storage, and I moved back to Windows. This phone is different -- plenty of storage so I don't have to constantly move apps to an SD card, and continues to run faster than previous phones.

Bought and started using the phone about 3 weeks ago and was using a G4 prior. This phone is an upgrade in every way. The photo quality might be suspect as there was a reduction in the number of megapixels, but the instant shutter and camera and gallery apps make up for that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone a few months ago and I just Love it. The only problem I've had is with the system update. After installing the update I am no longer able to connect to my computer via the hot spot. Which really sucks cause I do most of my important stuff on my much bigger screen. Hope someday you can fix this glitch. Other than that I would give 5 Stars.
