Fantastic!

This range has everything I need. The burners are precise and even heating. The oven, with the heavy-duty racks is great for use in baking cakes, pies, breads etc. The touch screen for controls is brightly lit with a soft sounding chime when things are done. The heavy duty knobs for the burners is a real plus. This range is a solid great looking appliance. We are very happy with our KitchenAid range1
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Innovative, Convenient Features, Design

Mostly Love It

This range is really fantastic. I love everything about it except for one simple thing. Since the controls are on the front, naturally, it gets dirty every time the stove top is used. I lock the screen but when I wipe the touch control surface the timer is activated. There may be a way to totally lock every button on the screen, but I haven't found it yet. So far, that is my only complaint.

I am still getting used to my new stove-but so far love everything about it. I love that the grates on the top go all the way across making a flat surface to move a hot pan off the burner or oven to. I used the oven for the first time yesterday and the temperature was true to the recipe. Love the modern industrial style. Took me a minute to get used to the power of the burners-I can boil a big pot of pasta water in just a few minutes. Cleaning around the burners is very easy. Have not tried the convection oven yet. There is no storage for cookie sheets/baking pans but I just store them in the oven and remove them when I use the oven so it hasn't been a problem. All around great stove.

Nothing to complain about, cooking is so much fun now. This gas range is awesome. Took some getting use to after having an electric range because this on cooks much faster.

Great appliance!

Very easy to use, performs well and looks good. The oven is powerful and even, but a bit small. The burners are nice but the power burner is too large for even some medium-large pans - a dual ring burner would have been better for distributing heat. Only annoyance is the fan noise when the oven is on (not the convection fan).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 1995, when my husband and I married, we bought a Kitchenaid dual fuel range. It lasted 24 years in the same house. When it finally quit, I bought another one, and I am so very, very pleased that I did. The workmanship is awesome, and it cooks beautifully. I did, however, have to look up the Sabbath mode--a lot has changed over 24 years!

LOVE My Stove!

I have had this stove for almost 4 years now and love almost everything about it. The handles can get pressed when you lean in over the stove, but you hear the pilot clicking. The lead burner is powerful, you have to learn to use the different heats around the stove. Oven is fantastic, convection heat is evenly spread. Zero problems with the stove. Cleaning the stovetop is horrible though. Obviously the grates are heavy but the surface under the grates sucks to clean, it holds food like glue, hard to get clean. And the stove is really fussy about what you can use to clean it, which is great when you know that, but my housesitter scratched the stainless badly just using a sponge with a scrubby. Cleaning is a D on this stove, everything else is an A... so I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kitchen Aid range was part of a kitchen renovation and it was the first thing I chose for the renovation. The dual fuel is the best cooking combination I think. I love to cook. The oven cooks hot so I have adjusted my cooking times. I love the easy pull out oven racks. They are a great design. The range is well designed. I like the layout. The burners are big. They have great adjustment and the simmer option is great. The flame is damaging the handles on my frying pans though. The black on the range tops are wearing off sooner than I had hoped. I'm hoping to find the best cleaner for the range top so I don't scratch it.
