[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an IT Security Pro and Data Protection engineer. The phone is a truly "High Quality" consumer electronic device. Not sure why I have seen so much negative commentary from critics at many mainstream AND cutting edge tech reviews sites regarding the screen of his phone. This is a truly Beautiful screen. The phone has VERY snappy response whether offline, on wi-fi and/or through Bluetooth. Not too junkware-app heavy, certainly no more than any other flagship model mfr competitor. The DAC audio processing is certainly some of the BEST i have EVER heard. This was a huge plus for me and should be for anyone wondering how music experience continues to get better now that we really don't "i-Pod" much anymore these days. With a standard 128GB internal storage, room for all my "must-have" music files (even lossless formats). I particularly love the excellent offerings regarding control of economizing battery power in the "extended battery mode" settings. Additionally, I find the blue-light filter combined with "auto-brightness features all in all VERY easy to use and extremely effective for increased eye comfort. Cons as follows: 1) running phone full apps, full speed, bright screen will kill battery pretty quick. In fairness, this remains true for all top-line models of all top current mfrs. These phones really all need a 4400-4500 mAh battery as a std. 2) Naked phone as designed while being a beautiful work of art is ergonomically very difficult to easily hold while operating. Slippery as all heck. I was even afraid to hold in two hands using above ANY hard surface, such as concrete, blacktop, tile floor etc. Really felt like i would drop and destroy it any second. However, once I had phone in a high quality, multi-layered protective case, I was good to go. Love the phone. Would buy again. Give us a little more battery horse-power. Five Stars

Outstanding cellphone

I used to own an LG G2 cellphone. The LG V30+ that I bought is better in just about every way except it's heavier. If the LG V30+ were as light as the LG G2, then this phone would be perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very good, impressive phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having read the reviews (CNET and beyond), I decided to purchase this phone just two weeks ago. Having received it just yesterday, needless to say, I find myself overly impressed. The operation and setup were seamless, the picture quality and resolution are superb (although perhaps a bit too saturated), and the amount of flexibility available is more than I can for. Having used the LG G4 since 2016 (itself a very efficient piece of equipment), I must confess being quite blown away by this model.
If I can raise two or three issues, they are: 1) the volume controls feel a tad more awkward on the side of the phone than on the back where the fingers would be better positioned in operating them, 2) the speaker would have been better placed at the back or front of the phone than at the bottom, and 3) as others mentioned before, while 4GB of RAM is sufficient, it would have been better served with at least 6GB (when thinking of the constant evolution of cellphones beyond 2019).
But with that said, this phone is durable and will last quite a while (believe it or not, even the LG G4 is still around and remains very useful, though minus the operating system upgrades available in newer models). LG V30 will serve you well, as I can attest with confidence.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
