Initially loved the phone. Screen and battery were great. One month in and phone is sucking the battery dry even when constantly closing active apps. Phone is very Fragile, as the screen cracked from 2 foot fall off of a chair. Luckily I have protection plan in.placr and can go back to better quality competitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Many things are fine but the camera is trash
Bought two phone. One for wife one for me. Going to have to get other phones because these cameras suck so bad.

Big Disappointment!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone about 2 months ago. The second day I had it I noticed a crack on the back and one on the edge. I had NOT dropped the phone!! Then as the weeks went by the cracks got bigger and bigger. By week three the phone was overheating. Week 4 had to do a hard reset to stop from overheating. Phone still overheats, screen still cracked and it also has froze up 3 times!!! Very big disappointment ....do NOT waste your money!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One Of The Best Smartphones Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you get into the top tier of flagship smartphones one's preference comes down to features the individual user wants and needs and the intangibles. Those thoughtful touches that make the experience special for you.
For me the V30 has the incredible sound of quad dac and the ultrafast gigabit speed plus as major assets but features like double tap unlock with face of voice recognition i just love. Smart settings that change profile settings depending on whether you're home or away. Perfect screen size with a beautiful display wrapped in a sleek and sophisticated body. Bottom line, I really enjoy everyday with my V30.

I find the rear camera setup really functional and the phone sounds great with headphones. I look forward to learning more about shooting in manual mode and understanding all the options available. The phone has a very nice screen and the overall size feels right.

Great phone. A sleeper in the Android market

I migrated from Apple to Samaung phones 5 years ago out of frustration with Apple's indifference to their inferior screens and locked-down ecosystem. I had the notorious Note 7 and loved it. But had to roll back to the edge 7. A Great phone, but whwn i went to buy the Note 8 the LG-V30 was sitying next to it on the shelf. I picked it up and remember saying to myself, "What phone is this?" The display was magnificent and the feel in the hand compared to the Note8 sold me. It's a buttery smooth flagship phone with premium characteristics. I've used it for a week now and juat love it. A home run.
