I PURCHASED IT FOR MY MOTOROLA Z3 PLAY AND SPENT 13/4 HOURS WITH A MOTOROLA TECHNICIAN AND COULDN'T GET THE VOICE ACTIVATION TO WORK. HAD TO SEND IT BACK AND WAITING FOR ANOTHER ONE TO COME. HOPE THIS ONE WORKS BECAUSE THE REVIEWS WERE TERRIBLE ON IT AND I HOPE IT DOSN'T TAKE FOREVER TO RECEIVE IT. ALREADY BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS.

The Alexa on this is a joke. If this is a way to introduce new users to the world of Alexa, it does a poor job. I only use it as a speaker and for that it does ok. I've not used any other speaker mods so can't say if it 's better or worse than those but certainly an improvement over the phone's speaker.
