Beautiful and cooks well, but "neat" chefs beware!

I've had this cooktop for about a year and a half I guess. Overall, I love it. It does everything it's supposed to do and the noise is something you get used to.
However, being a glass cooktop, I am constantly trying to wipe it while I cook. I just don't like a "dirty" surface. But each time I do, everything shuts off.
There's some auto-shutoff mechanism that "detects spills" and shuts things off. But it doesn't stop with spills. Even wipe a damp rag across it and you'll be drying it, blowing it dry with your mouth and then turning EVERYTHING back on again.
In hindsight, I don't think I'd buy this again. It is extremely frustrating to be in the middle of a 3-burner meal and have everything shut down time and again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used it less than a year and it quit working. After 4 service calls and 3 weeks later it is still not working. And Samsung is refusing to replace it. I am ready to throw it in a trash can and buy another brand.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Induction Cooktop is excellent. We enjoyed this cooktop for about four years. It is easy to use and cook with. Also cleaning is very simple and easy. I highly recommend getting a store (BestBuy or others) extended 5-year warranty. We had an issue during the end of four year regarding the Control Panel becoming hot 162 F. We called for repair services. We will see if the unit will get repaired or replaced soon.
